The inscription is executed in angular Kufic script with foliated elements characteristic of eastern Islamic coinage of the early 13th century. A circular marginal legend in cursive Naskh script runs along the inner border, containing additional Quranic or honorific formulae. The flan is irregular and slightly dumpy, typical of hammered gold dinars of the Transoxanian region. No figural imagery is present, consistent with Islamic numismatic convention. |
