Obverse description Central field occupied by four lines of bold raised Arabic Naskhi script within a plain inner circle, the legends presenting the ruler's titles and Quranic formulae in the characteristic Ayyubid epigraphic style. The inner circle is bordered by a rope-pattern or beaded marginal band, beyond which a further ring of Arabic legend runs along the outer periphery of the flan. The coin is struck on an irregular, slightly wavy flan typical of hammered Ayyubid gold dinars of the mid-13th century. The relief of the inscriptions is high and well-defined, indicating a freshly cut die. Small pellet ornaments separate the lines of text within the central panel.

Reverse description Central field bearing four lines of Arabic Naskhi script within a plain inner circle, continuing the religious and dynastic titulature of the Ayyubid sultan, including the Abbasid caliph's name and the mint or date formula. The inner circle is enclosed by a beaded or rope-twist border, with a circular marginal legend occupying the outer ring of the flan. The flan edge is characteristically irregular and slightly lobate, consistent with hammered production at the Cairo mint. The script is deeply and crisply struck, with the uppermost line featuring the AH date. The overall design follows the established Ayyubid dinar type without figural imagery, in strict conformity with Islamic epigraphic tradition.
