| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field contains multiple horizontal lines of Kufic Arabic inscription arranged within a beaded inner circle, presenting the ruler's name and titles alongside religious formulae. The marginal legend encircles the central text within a beaded border, carrying additional Quranic or devotional text consistent with contemporary Islamic coinage conventions. The script is angular Kufic, neatly arranged and characteristic of the Daylami-influenced dynasties of northern Iran in the mid-10th century CE. The coin exhibits the typical epigraphic reverse design of the period, devoid of figural imagery in accordance with Islamic numismatic tradition. |
