| 表面の説明 | The obverse features a multi-line Arabic religious legend boldly struck in raised relief across the central field, enclosed within a double linear circle. The shahada and its continuation occupy three lines in the inner field: the declaration of the oneness of God (tawhid) followed by the Quranic verse attesting to the mission of the Prophet Muhammad. A circular marginal legend runs around the outer border within a toothed or denticulated rim, carrying the continuation of the Quranic inscription. The calligraphy is executed in a compressed Kufic style typical of Yemeni dinars of the Najahid period, with letters densely interlocked to fill the available field. |

| 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays a multi-line Arabic legend in the central field, also within a double linear circle and a toothed outer rim. The inner field carries four lines of text naming the Fatimid caliph al-Hafiz li-Din Allah and the Najahid ruler al-Fatik billah, presented in a hierarchical arrangement typical of vassalage acknowledgment on Islamic coinage. The marginal legend in the outer border contains the mint and date formula, recording the striking of this dinar at Zabid in the year 531 AH. The bold, angular Kufic lettering fills the field with characteristic density, reflecting the hammered die-work of the Yemeni mint tradition. |
