Obverse description Hammered gold dinar struck on an irregular flan. The central field contains a square frame enclosing four lines of Kufic-influenced Maghribi Arabic script bearing the Shahada and Quranic verse (Quran 9:33). A secondary Arabic marginal legend runs along all four sides of the square frame within a dotted border. The outer circular margin carries an additional Arabic inscription, the whole composition following the classic Almohad-Marinid square-in-circle typology.
