| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a vignette of the Red Palace (Qasr Al-Ahmar), a historic mud-brick structure in Kuwait, rendered in olive-green intaglio with a large tree in the foreground and an open sky behind. Multicoloured guilloche rosettes and geometric patterns occupy the right portion of the note, providing contrast to the architectural scene. The English denomination and issuer name are inscribed in the upper and lower registers respectively. |

| Opmerkingen |
This is the post-liberation series, issued after Kuwait reasserted control following the Iraqi occupation of 1990–91. During the occupation, the Iraqi government forcibly replaced Kuwaiti dinars with Iraqi dinars at a coercive one-to-one rate, stripping the currency of its function entirely. Upon liberation, Kuwait voided all notes of the previous series with minimal notice — a deliberate move to render worthless any currency that had been looted or transferred to Iraq in bulk.
P#19 belongs to the entirely new series commissioned specifically to replace those invalidated notes, with Thomas De La Rue handling production as they had for earlier Kuwaiti issues.
