Obverse description	Printed in blue and lilac intaglio, the obverse carries the Arabic legend البنك المركزي العراقي arching across the upper centre above the denomination دينار واحد in large bold script, all set within an ornate guilloche border. A blank circular reserve to the left accommodates the Republic arms watermark, while a multi-pointed star medallion bearing the Republican coat of arms is positioned to the right. Two manuscript signatures of bank officials, serial number, and prefix letters occupy the lower portion over a fine lathe-work underprint.
