| Obverse description | Left-facing draped bust of Liberty, rendered in high relief in a neoclassical style, her hair gathered in an upswept chignon and adorned with a laurel wreath. The legend LIBERTY arcs along the upper right rim, with the motto IN GOD WE TRUST inscribed in the right field.
