Reverse description The denomination ONE DIME inscribed in two lines occupies the central field, enclosed within an open wreath of olive branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow. A royal Hawaiian crown surmounts the wreath at the top. The Hawaiian motto UA MAU KE EA O KA AINA I KA PONO arcs along the upper periphery, while the Hawaiian-language denomination UMI KENETA curves along the lower periphery, both legends separated from the central device by small raised dots. The whole design is contained within a toothed border.
