Obverse description Enthroned ecclesiastical figure shown facing, wearing a mitre and holding a crozier, depicted in a stylized Romanesque manner within the field. The figure is flanked by foliage or decorative elements. A partial Latin legend runs around the periphery, partially divided by the enthroned figure below. The overall rendering is characteristic of 12th–13th century Alpine hammered coinage, with angular and schematic treatment of the seated effigy.
