| 正面描述 | Draped bust of Ferdinand Charles facing right, rendered in low relief in a crude provincial style characteristic of small German states. The effigy displays curled hair falling to the shoulder and a lace collar visible below the neck truncation. The portrait is surrounded by a beaded inner circle. The abbreviated Latin legend of the ruler's titles runs along the outer field. |

Ferdinand Charles ruled Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rochefort in the immediate aftermath of the Thirty Years' War, a conflict that had devastated the small Rhenish territories economically and demographically. The 1648 Peace of Westphalia, signed just a year before this piece was struck, formally reaffirmed the minting rights of minor imperial counts — rights many had been unable to exercise during decades of wartime disruption. This coin is a direct product of that restored authority.
The "Type 2" designation within CGKL#682 distinguishes this from an earlier die arrangement of the same year.
