Aanvullende informatie

John of Moravia held the patriarchate through a period of acute political fracture — the Western Schism had split obedience across Europe, and Aquileia's position between Habsburg pressure and Venetian expansion left its rulers perpetually negotiating loyalty. John himself was a member of the Luxembourg dynasty, appointed largely through imperial connections rather than ecclesiastical ones, which shaped the militarized character of his coinage.

Bernardi 63 is among the more consistently encountered types of his issues, though survivors in clean condition are scarce given the thin flan typical of Aquileian denari at this weight.
