Obverse description Crude hammered field bearing a Devanagari inscription in the central area, rendered in the characteristic rough style of small-denomination Nepalese dam coinage. The legend is struck in raised relief against an uneven, granular field typical of hand-hammered Nepalese silver. The irregular flan edges and uneven strike are characteristic of this diminutive denomination produced at the Patan Mint during the reign of Rajya Prakash Malla.
