Obverse description Hammered copper flan bearing a bold multi-line Arabic legend inscribed across the field in a robust, angular Naskh hand. The inscription reads 'Dar-ul-Sultanat' (Seat of the Sultanate) accompanied by the AH regnal year, distributed across two or three horizontal registers occupying virtually the entire flan. The design is characteristic of Akbar-era copper coinage, with deeply incised letters and an irregular, slightly convex surface typical of hand-struck issues. The coin exhibits a natural brown patina with traces of green cuprite in the recesses.
