| Reverse description | Hammered flan featuring a dense, swirling Arabic legend filling the entire field without a defined border. The inscription, rendered in a cursive Naskh or Shikasta style, is arranged in a rotational or interlocking pattern typical of Mughal copper dam coinage of the Agra mint. The deep relief of the lettering contrasts with the porous, granular surface of the planchet. The overall design is characteristic of the informal, workshop-style production of Akbar's copper issues, with letters running to the very edge of the flan. |
