| Descrição do anverso | Broadly struck hammered copper flan displaying a bold Arabic legend in Nasta'liq script occupying the entire field without a formal border. The inscription renders the full regnal titulature of the emperor: 'Muhyi al-Din Muhammad Aurangzeb Alamgir Badshah Ghazi.' The lettering is deeply engraved with characteristic Mughal calligraphic style, the strokes bold and slightly irregular owing to the hand-hammered technique. The flan is notably thick and uneven at the periphery, consistent with the large-module copper dam denomination. Surfaces show an olive-brown and dark patina with areas of green cuprite oxidation. |
