| 正面描述 | This large copper plate money (plåtmynt) bears five applied stamps: four identical corner stamps and one central stamp. Each corner stamp displays the royal cypher of Charles XI surmounted by a crown, all within a beaded circular border enclosing the Latin legend CAROLUS·XI·D:G:SVE:GOT:WAN:REX (Charles XI, by the Grace of God, King of the Swedes, Goths and Wends). The central stamp bears the denomination numeral '1' above the inscription DALER Sölff:Mnt ('1 Daler Silvermynt'), flanked by the mint mark AIR identifying the Kengis (Kängis) copper works. The overall format is characteristic of Swedish plate money of the late seventeenth century, with the rectangular copper slab serving as the coin's body and the impressed stamps constituting its design. |
