Obverse description Central quartered shield displaying the Swedish coat of arms in four quarters: three crowns in the upper-left and lower-right quarters, the Folkung lion in the lower-left quarter, and the Vasa sheaf in the upper-right quarter, with a small inescutcheon at the center bearing a cross. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown and enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The date 1600 and the partial legend REGNI SVECI are distributed around the shield within the outer border, with the lettering divided across the upper and lower fields.
