Obverse description Armored half-length bust of King Gustav II Adolf facing slightly right, depicted in three-quarter view looking forward, holding an orb in his left hand and a sword in his right. The effigy is rendered in the baroque portrait style typical of early 17th-century Swedish coinage. A continuous Latin legend surrounds the royal portrait within the coin's border.
