| Description du revers | Printed in purple and ochre, the reverse centres on a finely engraved vignette of the newly constructed Central Bank of The Gambia headquarters, a modernist multi-storey structure rendered in intaglio detail over a light guilloche underprint. The Gambian national coat of arms appears at lower left, and the commemorative legend OFFICIAL OPENING 18TH FEBRUARY 1978 is set in a panel beneath the building. The bank title runs across the top, with the numeral 1 at both upper corners and the denomination ONE DALASI along the lower border. |
