Reverse description Crowned Spanish royal coat of arms displayed at center, superimposed upon a Burgundian St. Andrew's cross (saltire), the cross itself flanked on either side by a firesteel (fusil), emblematic of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The heraldic composition is executed in a bold, deeply struck style characteristic of hammered silver coinage of the Spanish Netherlands. A circular Latin legend runs around the periphery, terminating with the Dordrecht mint mark, proclaiming the divine protection invoked by the issuer.
