| Reverse description | Crowned coat of arms of Philip II, comprising the quartered royal arms of Spain and Burgundy, with the jewel of the Order of the Golden Fleece suspended below on a decorative collar. The shield is superimposed upon the Burgundian saltire cross, flanked on either side by a firesteel, all elements emblematic of the Order of the Golden Fleece and the House of Habsburg. The circumferential legend in Latin is separated by pellets and enclosed within a beaded border. The overall composition follows the established heraldic convention of the Philipsdaalder series. |
