Reverse description A rampant lion passant to the left is depicted within a plain inner circle, its mane, claws, and curling tail rendered in bold relief characteristic of hammered Dutch lion daalders. The surrounding exergual field is plain, while the peripheral Latin legend, separated by ornamental cross stops, encircles the design within the outer border of the flan. The irregular hammered flan imparts a slightly uneven outline to the coin, as visible on the coin's edge.
