Obverse description Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the third portrait by Raphael Maklouf, depicting the Queen wearing the George IV State Diadem and a pearl necklace with pendant, her hair styled in characteristic curls. The truncation of the bust is draped. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left field, ISLE OF MAN along the upper right, and the date 1995 along the lower right, with a dot separating the issuer from the date. The mint mark PM and engraver's initials RDM appear at the lower truncation. The coin is bordered by a continuous ring of fine denticles.

Reverse description The reverse features a central rectangular tableau depicting early wireless telegraphy apparatus, including a transmitter on the left and a receiver on the right, rendered in fine relief with meticulous technical detail.
