| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing the George IV State Diadem, as modelled by Arnold Machin. The effigy is rendered in high relief against a plain field, with fine detail in the hair and crown. The legend ISLE OF MAN arcs along the left periphery and ELIZABETH II along the right, separated at the base by the date 1981. A beaded border runs along the entire rim. A small PM mint mark appears beneath the truncation of the bust. |

| Reverse description | Conjoined busts of HRH The Prince of Wales (Charles) and The Lady Diana Spencer facing slightly left, rendered in high relief at the centre of the field. A small crowned heraldic device appears at the base of the busts where the truncations meet. The entire design is enclosed within a decorative Celtic chain border, echoing Manx artistic tradition. The circumferential legend reads THE WEDDING OF H·R·H. THE PRINCE OF WALES AND THE LADY DIANA SPENCER, with the denomination ONE CROWN appearing at the base, flanked by raised dots. |
