Reverse description Three uniformed soldiers from different Allied nations are depicted in high relief at the centre of the field, commemorating the Christmas Truce of World War I. The uppermost legend LEST WE FORGET arcs across the upper periphery, while a partially visible dedicatory inscription referencing the many multitudes who served fills the middle field behind the figures. The denomination ONE CROWN appears in a straight line along the lower periphery. Dates referencing the years 1914 and 1918 are visible in the lower field, evoking the span of the Great War.
