To the left of the scroll appears the Royal Arms of Gibraltar surmounted by a crown, and the date 1713 is inscribed in the lower left field. A ribbon scroll at the base carries the inscription GIBRALTAR BRITISH FOR EVER, with ONE CROWN appearing along the lower rim.
