| Obverse description | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing the George IV State Diadem and a pearl necklace, after the third portrait by Raphael David Maklouf. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left field and QUEEN OF GIBRALTAR along the right, both within a beaded border. The date 2013 is positioned centrally below the effigy, and the engraver's initials RDM appear at the base of the portrait truncation. |

| Reverse description | The central field depicts an open scroll bearing the text TRACTATUS PACIS & AMICITIÆ and TREATY OF PEACE AND FRIENDSHIP, overlaid on a background map of Western Europe with the Rock of Gibraltar prominent in the lower portion. To the left of the scroll appears the Royal Arms of Gibraltar surmounted by a crown, and the date 1713 is inscribed in the lower left field. A ribbon scroll at the base carries the inscription GIBRALTAR BRITISH FOR EVER, with ONE CROWN appearing along the lower rim.
