Aanvullende informatie

The Queen Mother reached her centenary on August 4, 2000, making her the most prominent member of the British royal family to publicly reach that age. The Isle of Man Treasury was prolific in issuing commemorative crowns throughout the 1990s and 2000s, licensing royal events with particular frequency — this piece was one of several simultaneous releases marking the occasion, issued alongside silver and gold variants at different price points.

Royal Mint output for the official UK commemorative that year was substantial, but the Isle of Man issue circulated independently under Manx authority.
