| Beschrijving keerzijde | Two mute swans depicted facing one another on a calm water surface, their gracefully arched necks forming a symmetrical heart shape at centre. The birds are rendered in finely detailed high relief, with meticulously engraved plumage visible on their folded wings. The Pobjoy Mint mark PM appears at lower left in the field. The denomination numeral 1 is inscribed above the legend CROWN, which is set in the lower exergue in incuse lettering. The overall composition fills the field to the inner beaded border. |
