| Reverse description | Three Supermarine Spitfire aircraft depicted in dynamic formation flight, rendered in detailed relief against a plain field. The foreground aircraft is shown in a low-angle perspective emphasizing its elliptical wings and roundel markings, while two further aircraft are visible above and behind. The inscription HISTORY OF THE RAF arcs along the left periphery, BATTLE OF BRITAIN MEMORIAL FLIGHT along the upper right, SUPERMARINE SPITFIRE appears in the lower left field, and ONE CROWN is inscribed along the lower border, all within a beaded border. |

| Additional information |
Gibraltar has issued commemorative crowns in enormous quantities since the 1970s, contracting with the Pobjoy Mint and others to produce themed collector pieces that rarely see genuine circulation. The Spitfire was a natural subject — Gibraltar's wartime role as a staging and repair base for RAF aircraft made it a legitimate, if loosely interpreted, connection to the type.
KM#1350 is one of several Spitfire-themed issues Gibraltar produced across multiple years and metal variants. Collector demand for the series has always been modest; secondary market prices consistently hover near melt or face value for the copper-nickel strikes.
