Obverse description Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the George IV State Diadem, with pearl drop earring and necklace visible, after the portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley whose initials IRB appear below the bust truncation. The legend HM QUEEN ELIZABETH II TRISTAN DA CUNHA arcs around the upper periphery, with the date 2017 at the bottom of the field. A fine beaded border frames the entire design.

Reverse description The reverse features a colour-printed portrait of King Henry VII, depicted in three-quarter view facing slightly left, wearing a black cap and fur-trimmed robes with the Collar of the Order of the Garter, after the famous portrait attributed to Michel Sittow. To the right, overlapping the portrait, is a raised gold-toned rendering of Henry VII's sovereign coin in relief, depicting the enthroned king. The legend KING HENRY VII arcs across the top of the field, and the denomination ONE CROWN appears in the lower exergue.
