| Obverse description | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, rendered in the third definitive portrait by Raphael David Maklouf. The Queen is depicted wearing the George IV State Diadem, a pearl drop earring, and a pearl necklace, with her robed shoulders visible at the bust truncation. The legend ELIZABETH II runs along the left rim and GIBRALTAR along the right rim, with the date 1995 positioned below to the right. The initials RDM appear on the truncation, attributing the portrait to the engraver, and PM denotes the Pobjoy Mint. The coin is struck in high relief with a beaded border encircling the entire obverse field. |

| Reverse description | Central depiction of Peter Rabbit, the iconic character from Beatrix Potter's illustrated tale, shown standing upright on his hind legs in a dynamic, leaping pose, dressed in his characteristic blue jacket with large buttons. The figure is rendered in fine relief against a plain field, capturing the whimsical charm of the original illustrations. The curved legend THE TALE OF PETER RABBIT arcs around the upper portion of the reverse, while the denomination 1 CROWN appears in the lower exergual area. A beaded border frames the entire design. The overall composition is clean and well-centred, befitting a collector issue struck by the Pobjoy Mint. |
