Additional information

The Persian Cat crown is part of a broader series issued for the Isle of Man, where Pobjoy Mint held a long-running contract that made the island one of the most prolific sources of collector-targeted coinage in the late twentieth century. By 1989, the cat series had already established a dedicated following, and the silver variants were produced in strictly limited quantities alongside the base metal circulation strikes.

KM#250a distinguishes this from the copper-nickel 250, a detail that matters when attributing examples found without original packaging.
