| Beschrijving keerzijde | Full-length standing figure of Juno Moneta, rendered in classical sculptural style, depicted in draped robes with her right arm raised and left hand extended, occupying the centre of the field. The inscription JUNO MONETA is divided across the upper field on either side of the figure, with ONE CROWN similarly flanking the lower portion. The Pobjoy Mint privy mark PM appears in the lower left field. The design references the ancient Roman goddess credited as the patron of coinage, whose temple on the Capitoline Hill gave rise to the word 'money'. |
