The legend ELIZABETH II GIBRALTAR arcs above the portrait, with the date 1998 and mint initials RDM PM appearing in the lower field. The design is attributed to the Pobjoy Mint and reflects the standard regal portrait used on Gibraltar coinage of this period. |
