Additional information

Gibraltar's commemorative crown issues of this period were produced by the Pobjoy Mint under licensing arrangements that generated dozens of near-identical collector pieces annually — this flypast issue being one of several RAF-themed releases timed around the 90th anniversary of the Royal Air Force's founding in April 1918.
