Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse presents a striking composite design combining a monochromatic photographic image of Elvis Presley performing energetically, depicted playing an acoustic guitar while singing, rendered in a black-and-white photographic style against a gold-plated field. A large vintage studio microphone on a stand occupies the lower right in raised gold relief, held by a hand, while decorative musical notes and swirling staff lines in gold fill the upper left background. A facsimile of Elvis Presley's cursive signature appears prominently in the lower centre field within an oval cartouche, serving as the primary legend.

Aanvullende informatie

Gibraltar has issued commemorative crowns under royal license for decades, exploiting its status as a British Overseas Territory to produce collectibles that circulate legally but are never intended to. This piece marks the 1956 double A-side single — released on one disc because RCA Victor's pressing plants were running at capacity and Presley's label needed simultaneous chart presence on both sides. It worked: both tracks hit number one independently.
