| Obverse description | The fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, is depicted in right-facing profile bust, wearing a tiara and a drop earring, with a draped neckline. The peripheral legend reads ELIZABETH II to the upper left and ISLE OF MAN to the upper right, flanking the crown of the effigy. The date 2013 appears in the lower right field, with three triskelion privy marks of the Isle of Man interspersed within the legend. The engraver's initials IRB appear truncated at the base of the portrait. A fine beaded inner border encircles the design. |
