| Reverse description | A finely detailed depiction of a Burmese cat rendered in high relief, shown in a relaxed seated pose facing forward with its body turned slightly to the left, occupying the central field. The cat's whiskers, short dense coat, and alert wide-set eyes are rendered with exceptional engraving detail. In the upper field at twelve o'clock, the Isle of Man triskelion shield appears as a small heraldic device. To the upper left, seagulls in flight are visible in the background field, and to the lower right, a small sculptural figure of a Manx Loaghtan ram is displayed on a plinth bearing the fineness mark 999. A decorative foliate chain border flanks the lower inscription panel, which reads Ag. 1 oz. CROWN in bold letters within a recessed cartouche. |
