| Aanvullende informatie |
The Falkland Islands resumed full British administration following the 1982 conflict, and commemorative coinage has been a consistent revenue stream for the territory's government ever since — Royal Mint contracts producing silver proofs primarily for collector markets in Britain and abroad. The 2007 date places this issue twenty-five years after the Argentine surrender at Stanley on June 14th, making the anniversary the almost certain commercial impetus for the series.
