| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, rendered in fine detail after the fourth definitive portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials IRB appear below the truncation. The legend ELIZABETH II is inscribed to the upper left, with ISLE OF MAN continuing to the upper right, flanked by the Isle of Man triskelion emblem at top center. The date 2003 is inscribed at the lower right, with an additional small triskelion appearing nearby. The field is mirror-polished, and the portrait is encircled by a beaded inner border. |
