The denomination 1 CROWN appears below the pedestal at the base of the design. The circumferential legend XXVI OLYMPIAD ATLANTA 1996 runs around the upper and lateral periphery, separated by raised dots, commemorating the Twenty-Sixth Summer Olympiad held in Atlanta, Georgia. The design was executed by Norman Sillman. |
