Beschrijving voorzijde Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II occupies the central field, modeled by Cecil Thomas after the Mary Gillick portrait tradition but rendered with the St. Edward's Crown fully detailed above the queen's elaborately coiffed hair. The bust is draped and wears a pearl necklace, lending a regal formality to the portrait. The circumferential legend reads ELIZABETH·II·DEI·GRATIA·REGINA, disposed around the effigy with raised lettering against a smooth field. A fine beaded border runs the full circumference of the coin just within the rim.

Beschrijving keerzijde The central field presents a finely engraved relief map of the Bermuda archipelago, oriented diagonally across the coin, with the characteristic fish-hook outline of the island chain rendered in careful topographic detail. Above the map, a period square-rigged sailing vessel — evoking the Sea Venture, the ship that carried the first English settlers to Bermuda in 1609 — sails under full sail with billowing canvas. Below, a modern racing yacht heels in the waves, contrasting the commemorative historical imagery with contemporary Bermudian maritime culture. Flanking the map at the sides are the dates 1609 and 1959, separated from the map by small dot ornaments, marking the 350th anniversary of the colony's founding. The denomination ONE CROWN appears as a curved legend in the lower field, with BERMUDA arching above at the top, all within a beaded border.
