| 裏面の説明 | The Sovereign's Orb, one of the principal regalia used in the coronation of British monarchs, is depicted in full colour at centre, rendered with selective colour printing to highlight its jewelled band set with sapphires and pearls, the amethyst below the cross, and the gemstone-encrusted cross pattée surmounting the globe. A radiating architectural background evoking Westminster Abbey fills the field behind the Orb. The two-part circumferential legend THE THINGS WHICH I HAVE / HERE BEFORE PROMISED is inscribed in raised Latin lettering along the upper and lower border respectively, referencing the Coronation Oath. |
