Reverse description Printed in blue-green intaglio on a plain ground. The central design is dominated by a large circular vignette containing the Nicaraguan coat of arms — a triangle enclosing a volcano range with a rising sun above, set within a wreath — surrounded by the legend "REPÚBLICA DE NICARAGUA / AMÉRICA CENTRAL." This central medallion is flanked symmetrically on each side by elaborate guilloche cartouches incorporating the numeral "1." The bank name appears in two registers across the upper portion of the note, and the denomination "UN CÓRDOBA" is set in a decorative panel at the bottom. The printer's imprint appears at the foot.
