| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Ludwig I of Bavaria, rendered in finely detailed high relief with naturalistic treatment of the hair and facial features, including a distinctive mustache. The circular legend reads LUDWIG I KOENIG VON BAYERN around the upper periphery, while the fineness inscription ZEHN EINE FEINE MARK appears along the lower rim. The engraver's signature C. VOIGT is incised in small letters below the truncation of the bust. The overall style reflects the refined Neoclassical portraiture characteristic of the Munich mint in this period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a dynastic family portrait composition celebrated as the 'Blessing of Heaven' (Segen des Himmels). A large central oval medallion bears the right-facing draped bust of Queen Therese, identified by the circular legend THERESE KOENIGIN VON BAYERN. Surrounding the central portrait are eight smaller circular medallions, each containing the right-facing bust of one of the royal children — Otto, Maximilian, Mathilde, Adelgunde, Hildegard, Alexandra, Adalbert, and Luitpold — each identified by their name and the abbreviation P.V.B. (Prinz/Prinzessin von Bayern). The motto SEGEN DES HIMMELS arcs across the upper field, and the date 1828 appears in the exergue. |
