Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of King Anton of Saxony facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curled hair and naturalistic portraiture in the neoclassical style. The truncation of the neck is cleanly cut. The encircling legend reads ANTON V.G.G. KOENIG VON SACHSEN, separated by stops, running along the inner border of a beaded rim that frames the entire obverse field.
