| Obverse description | Draped bust of Bishop Ludwig Constantin von Rohan-Guéménée facing right, wearing ecclesiastical vestments with a decorative star-shaped ornament on the breast and a clerical cap (zucchetto). The hair falls in curled locks to the shoulder. The encircling Latin legend reads LUD CONST D G EPUS ET PPS ARGENTI LAN AL, with the engraver's initials JG appearing in the lower field beneath the truncation. The portrait is rendered in a refined Baroque style typical of mid-18th-century episcopal coinage. |
