Obverse description The obverse bears a counterstamp applied to the host coin (50 Centimos, KM#143), featuring a raised circular punch with the counterstamp date 1923 at center, enclosed within a raised ring. Flanking the central circle is an open wreath of laurel and olive branches tied with a ribbon at the base. The legend 'AMERICA CENTRAL' arcs across the upper field, while the fineness mark '900 M' appears to the left and the assayer initials appear at the bottom, all separated by five-pointed stars at the lower flanks.
